PumaPlot turns a table into a chart you can hand to somebody. Paste it, drop a file on the window, or open an export from another Puma app — then pick a shape and export a picture.
Year, Region, Sales — one row per combination rather
than one column per series — opens as a year axis with a series per
region. Where that is not what you meant, Split series by
in the settings panel changes which column becomes the series, and an
axis whose labels repeat says so rather than drawing bars you cannot
tell apart. Swap axis and series pivots any chart the
other way round — regions along the axis with a bar per year, or
years along the axis with a bar per region — whichever shape the
table came in..pumapack. Drop an export from any Puma app
and every table inside it is offered, including tables nested inside
workspaces. No app has to know about PumaPlot for this to work.Every shortcut is on the Keyboard tab.
In this browser's localStorage, on this device, under the
pumaplot. key prefix. There is no account, no server and no
sync. Nothing you paste here is transmitted anywhere — the app makes
no network requests at all.
Export full backup in the toolbar writes a
.pumapack holding every chart, its data and its settings.
Import reads it back. Individual charts also copy to the clipboard or
export as SVG or PNG, but those are pictures — only the
.pumapack restores the editable chart.
Because a pasted table is stored with its chart, a large dataset counts against the browser's storage budget. The storage indicator in the toolbar shows how much of it is used.
This deletes every chart and every pasted table in this browser. It cannot be undone.
Type DELETE EVERYTHING to confirm.
Dropping a file anywhere on the window imports it, and the tab strip follows the standard toolbar keyboard model — one stop, arrows inside.
Two right-clicks are worth knowing: on a chart tab for everything that chart can do — rename, duplicate, copy, export, close — and on the theme button for the accent colour picker.
This is a simple chart-plotting engine for arbitrary data, and specifically for PumaWorx containers. Chart plotting is not something I need enough to integrate into the other apps, but I needed it once so I might as well keep the tool around.
PumaWorx is a suite of offline, single-HTML productivity apps that run entirely in your local browser. The entire suite is a personal, open source vibecoding project.
